Rectangular & Ring-Type Inductive Proximity Sensors

KALEN Automation offers rectangular, compact, round-face and ring-type inductive proximity sensor housing styles for industrial metal detection. Choose a housing that fits your mounting space, target movement and machine layout. For rectangular or round-face sensors, provide the metal target material, dimensions and required sensing distance. For ring-type sensors, share the required bore clearance, metal part dimensions and direction of passage. We can review different sensing distances, NPN / PNP outputs, NO / NC switching, 3-wire / 4-wire configurations, cable or connector connections and DC supply requirements where supported by the selected model. Discuss positioning, metal component presence checks, packaging machinery or part counting with your installation drawing and motion speed. Detection performance and available configurations must be confirmed for the exact model and target. OEM/ODM enquiries are welcome for machine builders and distributors. NPN / PNP output

Specify the output required by your PLC or controller. Available outputs depend on the exact model; request its wiring diagram.

NO / NC switching

Tell us whether normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) operation is required. Confirm the selected model’s available switching behavior.

3-wire / 4-wire

Provide the required wire configuration and controller connection. Confirm a compatible model and pin assignment.

Cable / connector

Request a cable or connector connection and share cable length or connector details. Confirm availability before ordering.

DC supply voltage

Provide your required DC voltage. Confirm the recommended model’s rated operating voltage and electrical limits.
